Niles Vikings JV Can’t Catch Up To Lakeshore
Niles Vikings JV fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 10-3 loss to Lakeshore on Tuesday. Lakeshore scored on a single by Balkeria and a walk by Deja in the first inning.
The Niles Vikings JV struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Lakeshore, giving up ten runs.
Lakeshore scored five runs in the third inning. The offensive onslaught by Lakeshore was led by L. Kolessar, Kissaue, Nate, and R Kolessar, who each had RBIs in the inning.
Lies earned the win for Lakeshore. He lasted six innings, allowing four hits and three runs while striking out seven.
Hunter Fazi took the loss for Niles Vikings JV. He lasted one inning, allowing two hits and two runs.

Kolessar led the way with three. Lakeshore didn’t commit a single error in the field. Kissaue had the most chances in the field with nine.
