Niles Vikings JV blew out Brandywine 8-2 on Wednesday.
Niles Vikings JV fired up the offense in the first inning, when Cameron Clanton tripled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.
Niles Vikings JV notched four runs in the fifth inning. The offensive onslaught came from singles by Austin Bradley and James Barnes, a walk by Nick Berry, and by Clanton.
Hunter Fazi earned the win for Niles Vikings JV. He went three innings, allowing zero runs on five hits and walking one. Barnes threw one and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.
#7 took the loss for Brandywine. He lasted seven innings, allowing 11 hits and nine runs while striking out four.
