Hargraves Collects Four Hits as Niles Vikings JV Defeats Three Rivers
Chloe Hargraves had a busy day at the plate on Saturday, smacking four hits in Niles Vikings JV’s 18-3 victory over Three Rivers. Hargraves singled in the first, singled in the third, tripled in the fifth, and singled in the fifth.
In the first inning, Niles Vikings JV got their offense started when Ashleigh McIntyre homered on a 0-2 count, scoring two runs.
Niles Vikings JV notched eight runs in the fifth inning. Hargraves, McIntyre, Hannah Traeger, Ella Asmus, Grace Wickler, and Niah Zavitz powered the big inning with RBIs.
Hargraves earned the victory on the rubber for Niles Vikings JV. She went five innings, allowing three runs on five hits, striking out nine and walking zero.
Swartz started the game for Three Rivers. She surrendered 18 runs on 20 hits over five innings, striking out two and walking zero.

Swartz led Three Rivers with two hits in three at bats. Three Rivers tore up the base paths, as three players stole at least two bases. Swartz led the way with two.
