The first split game of the contest matched the Niles Vikings with the St Joe Upton B Team. The game was evenly matched throughout the game. Both teams struggled to put the ball in the basket. St Joe was up 4 at half, 18-14. Niles stayed with them through the third, but St Joe pulled away in the 4th outscoring Niles 19-4. Everyone saw the floor and contributed. Antwone Whitelow had a great game with 16 points, Max Henderson had several opportunities driving to rim. He finished with 9 points.

The second game of the night matched our Niles Vikings with the St Joe Upton A Team. Niles started rolling on cylinders in the first quarter with 7 points from Corey Maust. Grayson Dulworth took over the second quarter with 8 points. Niles lead at half 20 -19. St Joe came out hot in the third scoring 11 and took the lead. Niles fought hard to battle back but fatigue set in. 5 of 7 filled the score sheet. While we lost the game, the team is playing very well right now. Casey Marlin, Isaiah Stephens, and Davion Haynes did a excellent job on slowing down one of the best point guards that we play. We need to put everything together for 4 quarters.
